It's called Buffalo
Rising Journal.
We don't want to waste
too much time telling you about it.
You should know that the blog was born
of our impatience. We're working on
a really rich, awfully interactive
online Buffalo Rising experience.but,
unfortunately, that takes time. We
wanted to have an online voice before
then, so we started this. And we think
it's pretty cool.
It's not the magazine. It's more like
what the people who make the magazine
talk about between issues. And it's
a daily reminder of the richness and
vibrancy of our city and the people
who live in it.
Please check
it out, tell your friends,
make comments, and visit often. We
promise to make it worth your while.

Last Saturday-
The recently formed Space Trio
is the combined effort of three
longtime music collaborators
from Buffalo's own seven-piece
"avant-jazz, free energy groove
collective" Eulipion. Taking their
name (and some influence)
from an early group led by
mythical composer/pianist/bandleader Sun Ra, Space Trio
brings together elements of
acoustic jazz, electronica, funk,
world music, and free
improvisation, creating myriad
textures of sound and energy.
Space Trio brings space music
to planet earth for the benefit of
its any forms of life. "Space is
the place." -Sun Ra |
