The results are in. In the August 19-25 Issue of ArtVoice, Off The Wall was voted among the top three as the Best Place to get a Power Lunch. So now it’s official,and now you know where to go when your stomach starts rumbling around lunch-time. Although that doesn’t mean you can’t pop in for dinner too! Anyway, that was a nice feather to get in our cap and we would certainly like to thank all the people who voted for our spot. Next year, we’re shooting for best restaurant in Buffalo :-)

Normally we don’t report this sort of thing, but how the heck could we resist? Okay...so here it is. There’s this Turkish guy, right? And he wants to hold a world record, right? So what does he do? Well, he takes a handfull of milk, snorts it up his nose and then...are you ready? He squirts it about 9.2 feet from his left eye. Seriously. Apparently, he’s hoping to chalk one up in the in the world record for this. Which can only mean that he’s not the only person squirting milk from his eye. The current record for this is being held by Mike Moraal from France, who shot milk from his eye 8.745 feet.

For the first time ever we’re extending one of our shows for a second month. The very popular Elvis Exhibit by photographer Robert Smith will continue to hang through September. So if you haven’t seen the KING yet, well you now have a few more weeks to do so. After that, Elivs will leave the building. Don’t forget that you can get a brief peek at some of the photos right here on our website.

Not exactly “Hip-Hop”, but funky nonetheless is the sixth CD by NITIN SAWHNEY, titled “Human”. Now you can live large without the major car note. HotWheels has introduced the All New BLING cars. Yes, you heard us correctly. It’s everything you ever saw on video and wanted in your driveway. Sure, it’s a little small, but you gotta start somewhere. These new riders are packed with all the goods including those massive oversized wheels, muscled frames and colors that boom louder than your stereo system (Check out that Pimpin’ Purple above).

Proof that Hip-Hop is going Hip-Pop, the next edition of the Oxford Dictionary will include the term “Bling, Bling”. And is defined as a reference to elaborate jewelry and clothing and the appreciation of it (for those of you who didn’t know). Other than the massification of rap, this also means you can use that word in your next game of scrabble.
