Things are changing at
Off The Wall – starting with the
menu. We’ve just introduced a
new menu that is based on the
most popular items from the
last menu – plus some brand
new dishes conceived by the
chef. And because we take the
old maxim – “Eat, Drink and
Be Merry” very seriously, we’re
happy to announce that
Off The Wall is getting it’s
Liquor License...which means along with Wine, Beer
and Sake you can get all the other special drinks that
you’ve wanted before.
They say art is a great way to
make a statement. Well, we’re
making yet another one with
the latest improvements we
made to our Gallery. We’ve moved things around and
made a few upgrades. Jill Russel is our featured
Artist for the rest of October. And as you already know
a new artist will be going up at the beginning of every
month. So when you need that monthly “art fix”, drop in.
We’re proud of the success of our Paperboy. We get
new signees all the time and people seem to love
hearing from us every month. But we haven’t forgotten
where we – and the idea – came from.
In case you’ve been wondering, the Off The Wall
Paperboy is based on the original Paperboy from the
popular cartoon – The Flintstones. The question now
is do you remember his name? You have until next
issue to figure it out. Then we’ll tell you.
From the same people who
bring you COLORS Magazine
comes a diversified collage
of musical sounds from
around the world. CUMBIA is Latin America’s new
musical fever. This compilation
features the very best of this
modern electro-tropical sound.
Also check out, Nordic which
features Scandanavia Jazz
and Ottomanic, highlighting
contemporary Middle-Eastern
Sounds. This stuff is good.
Oh boy...the fun just doesn’t
stop. Last Month we told you
about the Boomin’ Bling! Bling!
Rides by Hotwheels. Well,
now to go with your miniature
sized Hummer, you can buy
Mattels ”Flavas” – a line of
“reality-based fashion dolls
that celebrates today's teen
culture.” And for those hip
teens with a drivers license,
the Flavas line also have
Flava rides as accessories.
And yes... one is a motorcycle.
Hmmm... so there you are
staring at that enormous
library of CD’s and old Vinyl
of every kind. You’ve listened
to it all before and you’re ready
for something different. Well,
it doesn’t get more different
than music played by the wind
and not the hand, or music
played to Whales with a
“water phone”. Or how about
stalagmites in a cave...
Visit oddmusic.com and
you’ll find the widest selection
of...well odd music. Enjoy.
