Always a home for some smooth downtempo, trip-hop and more. Stop in at the chillest envirnoment in Buffalo. Every 1st and 3rd Friday we have in Lounge Residents Leo and Soul Station spinning the wheels. And for the 1st and 3rd Saturday we have Brandon Chase and Kream spinning Deep House and New Jazz. Plus Ms. Pac-Man tournaments to take you back in the day. With full liquor available, you know the place is jumpin’.

It’s a Full Bar from here on at Off The Wall. We now have our NYS Liqour License, which means it’s more than wine, beer and sake when you stop in. Check out what we’ve got behind the bar, take a seat and relax in the coolest place in Buffalo.

In the last issue of Paperboy we told you who inspired our cool little Spaceboy character – but we didn’t tell you his name. You had 30 days to figure it out. His name was Arnold. Although we don’t blame you for not knowing since Arnold was one of those side characters you didn’t see too often on the show. Well...(sniff)...he’s probably a grown man now with his own newspaper company or maybe he’s Governor of California. Either way – we miss you Arnold!
Rest in Peace to one of Hip-Hop’s most eccentric, colorful and talented artists. If you know the face then you know the name – The Ol’ Dirty Bastard himself, also known as Russel Jones died on November 13th in his Studio. He was 35 Years old and died 2 days short of his birthday. We’ll always remember the man who help put one of Rap’s best groups (Wu Tang) on the radar. Peace.

Don’t forget that Nov. 26th is the next 1984 jam at OTW. This is the 11th jam and so far each party has been off the hook! Be sure to catch up with us. The party starts at 11pm and features all of the ol’ jams from the 80’s.

And then we take it back even further with our Go-Go Party classic. This party kicks off at 11:00pm and is on the 2nd Saturday of every month. Hope to see you there.

Last month we told you about Mattel’s Hip-HopToys. Well if those weren’t good enough for you, then you can just build your own – right here online. www.herobuilders.com is an online store that gives you a bare model to start and from their you customize his race, clothes, eyes and hair to have the hip-hop hero you always wanted.
